Aaron joined DW Simpson on a full-time basis in 2000 after spending three summers as an intern with the company. During his internships, Aaron worked as an Assistant Recruiter to two of the Partners and spent one year in the research Department. Aaron started the Entry-level team and soon rotated into a role recruiting experienced level actuaries in the beginning of 2003. He has worked with actuaries at all stages of their careers and has successfully placed individuals at levels ranging from new graduates up to seasoned Chief Actuaries, Chief Risk Officers and Quantitative/Risk Management professionals. Aaron was promoted to Partner in 2007. He has led business development efforts with clients throughout the US, Canada, Bermuda, and Hong Kong. Internally, Aaron manages a team while continuing to take an active role in training and developing less experienced DWS recruiters. He keeps current on industry topics and news by attending various professional conferences sponsored by organizations such as the CAS, SOA, ACLI and RAA. He graduated in May 2000 with a degree in Anthropology and a minor in African Studies from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. |
