Barclay joined DW Simpson in 2000. Prior to DW Simpson, Barclay was a Media Planner at the Chicago advertising agency Kelly, Scott & Madison, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing from Western Illinois University. Barclay presented “Skills Needed to Advance the Corporate Ladder” at the 2008 SOA Spring Life Meeting. He also moderated a panel on "Non-Traditional Roles for Actuaries" at the 2006 CAS Annual Meeting, presented on the "50,000 Mile Career Check-up" at the Adirondack Actuaries Club in 2006, and co-presented "How to Prepare, Interview and Land Your First Actuarial Job" at the 2004 ASNA Annual Convention in Toronto. |
